With your encouragement, I feel like a naughty child that has been invited to "touch" or "voice" those things which have been forbidden to us. We have not been given permission, just unleashed temptation! Oh, what fun! I'm on it. Thanks so much.

This is a great point Ginda, and a really interesting way to look at the Discomfort Zone. You could use that sense of the naughty child dealing with the complexity of temptation in characterisation and setting. It sounds like fertile ground that has given you some writing energy! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Veronika. Yes, absolutely, it can feel cathartic. It’s that investment in the process that seems a bit tough, but actually when you so, it can produce surprising results.
